DeLobo Games: Inside the Pack; The Vision, Values, and Innovation Driving

DeLobo Games was born from a simple but powerful idea: to craft meaningful,

emotionally resonant experiences through interactive storytelling. We believe games

can do more than entertain - they can connect, challenge, heal, and inspire. The

project was inspired by a lifelong love for storytelling, art, and human psychology,

combined with a desire to create something that leaves a positive mark on players’

lives.

DeLobo Games

1. How did you shape the vision for DeLobo Games? Did the concept evolve over time, or did you start with a clear direction?**

The vision evolved organically. I began with a strong desire to create games that truly matter—not just in terms of quality, but also in the way they impact people. Over time, through trial, learning, and reflection, I refined that initial passion into a more defined direction: crafting games that prioritize emotional depth, inclusive narratives, and experiences that stay with players long after they turn off the screen.

2. Did you identify any patterns or gaps in the way organizations approach wellbeing, or was it more of a personal passion/aim?**

It’s definitely a combination of both. From the patterns and gaps perspective, I noticed early on—through market research, industry events, and conversations with developers and players—that wellbeing was often an afterthought in game design. Many studios prioritized entertainment and monetization while overlooking the emotional or psychological impact of their content. Personally, I observed how mainstream games rarely offered safe spaces for reflection, healing, or emotional expression. This observation, paired with insights from mental health research and behavioral science, revealed a clear gap and a real opportunity.

On a personal level, I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of creativity and emotional depth. My own experiences—such as times when games helped me cope, reflect, or simply feel seen—played a significant role in shaping this vision. What keeps me motivated is the belief that games can do more: they can become modern tools for self-awareness, empathy, and inner growth. Every time someone shares that a DeLobo experience resonated with them or made them feel understood, it reaffirms that I’m on the right path.

Combining these perspectives gave me a strong thought process: observe what’s missing, trust what feels deeply meaningful, and then build something that fills that space with intention and heart. That’s the essence of DeLobo’s direction—blending emotional intelligence with game design to create experiences that truly matter.

3. You mention how important inclusivity and diversity are at DeLobo. How do those values show up in your day-to-day work and game development?**

Inclusivity isn’t just a value—it’s embedded throughout our entire creative process. From the characters we develop to the people we collaborate with, we aim to build spaces that reflect real, diverse human experiences. This means working with artists and writers from different backgrounds, questioning biases in our design choices, and ensuring our stories offer authentic representation—never performative.

4. The gaming world is constantly evolving. Are there any new trends or technologies—like AR/VR or AI—that you’re particularly excited about exploring?**

Absolutely. AI, in particular, excites me—not as a replacement for creativity, but as a tool to enhance it. I’m interested in how we can use AI to create more dynamic narratives and responsive game worlds. I’m also curious about mixed reality and how storytelling might evolve when the boundaries between digital and physical become more fluid. However, regardless of the technology, the heart of it must remain human.
